Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the JL Engineering Group website located at jlengineering.co ("Site") or purchasing any products or services from us. By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By accessing or using our Site, creating an account, submitting a contact inquiry, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Site or services.

3. Products

3.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including dimensions, materials, and specifications. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions are complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product you receive differs materially from its description, you may return it for a full refund.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid.

3.3 Availability and Stock

Product availability is shown in real time. In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or an alternative product.

3.4 Custom and 3D Printed Products

Many of our products are manufactured to order using 3D printing and precision fabrication. Lead times for custom orders will be communicated at the time of purchase. Custom orders may not be eligible for return once manufacturing has begun.

4. Orders and Payment

4.1 Order Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability. A binding contract is formed only when payment is successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store, access, or handle your full payment card details. By placing an order, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4.3 Guest Checkout

You may place orders without creating an account. Guest orders are tracked by order ID and the email address provided at checkout. We recommend saving your order confirmation email for reference.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping

We ship within the United States. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors outside our control.

5.2 Tracking

Once your order ships, we will provide a tracking number via your order record. You can track your shipment directly with the carrier.

5.3 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

6. Returns and Refunds

• Standard products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition for a full refund minus shipping costs
• Custom and made-to-order products are not eligible for return unless they arrive defective or materially different from their description
• To initiate a return, contact us at contact@jlengineering.co with your order number and reason for return
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item

7. Engineering Consulting Services

JL Engineering also provides engineering consulting services. Consulting engagements are governed by separate project agreements entered into between JL Engineering and the client. These Terms apply to the general use of our Site and contact inquiry process. Specific deliverables, timelines, fees, and liability limitations for consulting projects will be detailed in individual project agreements.

8. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use our Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Site
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our Site without written permission
